A gas-powered replica of the historic MP40 submachine gun, licensed by gun manufacturer Schmeisser. It is a faithful copy of a German submachine gun produced during the Second World War. It was made mostly of metal. An imitation of wood on the body and an imitation of Bakelite, from which the handle was made, were made of plastic. An individual serial number was stamped on the replica in several places.The gas version fires like the flammable prototype from an open breech, only with continuous fire. With each shot, the loaded breech makes a full cycle, moving forwards and backwards, and generates a noticeable recoil. The gun is fitted with two safeties - in front of the trigger guard and on the tension lever. There are also two holes on the barrel to allow for the threading of a carry strap.The pistol is equipped with a folding metal butt. On the top of the barrel and the barrel are the classic sighting devices, in the form of a musket and a comb. The comb can be set at two heights. At the end of the barrel there is a left-hand 14mm thread.The replica is powered by two 12g CO2 capsules placed inside the magazine. The inner barrel is 260 mm long and 6.08 mm in diameter. When the breech is pulled back, a knob is revealed to set the range-optimising hop-up system. The replica fires pellets at 360 FPS.The replica comes with a Real-Cap type magazine with a capacity of 30 pellets made of pressed steel, a quick-loader for the pellets, a notch and an allen key for tightening CO2 capsules.
